Daruisz Panol
Camp Director
Dariusz (Darek) Panol is a dedicated and accomplished soccer educator with extensive experience developing players, coaches, and programs at the youth, club, collegiate, and elite levels. Known for his energy, creativity, and player‑first philosophy, he creates positive, challenging environments where young athletes can grow and reach their full potential. Dariusz is committed to building strong, confident, and motivated young athletes, helping every player take meaningful steps forward in their soccer journey.
A former standout at Syracuse University, Darek was a Team MVP and All‑Big East selection, leading the Orange in goals, assists, and total points during his senior season. He also competed for two years at the semi‑professional level with NJ Garfield Wisla. His high‑level playing background gives him a strong understanding of the game and allows him to guide players who aspire to compete at the next level.
As the Director of Coaching (Boys & Girls) and Technical Director for Syracuse Rush / NY Rush, Darek oversees all aspects of player and coach development. He leads curriculum design, staff education, and long‑term player pathways that support athletes from the introductory stages all the way to regional, national, and international competition. Under his leadership, teams have competed in top‑tier events across the U.S. and abroad, including tournaments at Walt Disney World and international showcases in Italy.
Darek has held multiple leadership roles across Central New York, including Director of Coaching positions and involvement with Pre‑ODP programs. He also founded Grindmode Soccer, a training organization focused on technical development, camps, and college preparation that impacted players throughout the region for nearly a decade.
With more than 15 years of college coaching experience—at Utica College, the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, and as an assistant and goalkeeper coach with Syracuse FC’s NPSL team—Darek has developed a well‑rounded perspective on player growth at every stage. He holds a USSF “A” License and serves as a U.S. Soccer Grassroots Instructor, underscoring his commitment to mentoring both players and coaches.
Darek earned a Master’s degree in Inclusive Education from Utica College and Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from Syracuse University. His background in both education and player development allows him to connect with athletes in a way that supports their growth on and off the field.
