Dave Allen
Camp Director
Dave Allen was born and raised in the Bay Area (Kentfield, CA). He graduated from UC Davis where he led the school to win its first NCAA National Championship in 1992 and was honored by UC Davis as its "Athlete of the Year." Allen was a four-time All-American in both singles and doubles and captured multiple titles throughout his four years at Davis. In '91 and '92, Allen was a semi-finalist in the NCAA singles championship and finished that year #1 in the country.
After graduating, Allen joined the ATP professional tennis tour and competed internationally in twenty different countries, achieving world rankings in both singles and doubles.He has spent the last nine years building junior programs and high performance programs at both the Tiburon Peninsula Club (Junior Tennis Coordinator) and most recently at Belvedere Tennis Club (Head Tennis Professional).
Allen’s coaching philosophy is very simple and straight forward, “Setting realistic goals combined with hard work produces success.”
