At Elmhurst, Dr. Brown teaches classes across all computing majors include Computer Graphics and 3-D Computer Game Design as well as the more traditional computer science coursework.
Dr. David Brown has been a faculty member in the Computer Science Department at Elmhurst University since 2019. After spending 20 years in the public sector, David went back to school and received his Ph.D. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2015. While at UAB, he studied 3D simulation design and worked in the schools Emerging Technologies lab where he worked with a team developing training simulations and visualizations. In 2014, Dr. Brown took a position at Tennessee Technological University (TTU) where he built the iCube, TTU’s own simulation lab. While at TTU, Dr. Brown built a student gaming club as well as a student group with an interest in Euro-Style board games and RPG’s
