Kyle Murray

Kyle Murray enters his third season at West Chester University as the Assistant Track & Field Coach and Coordinator of Cross Country, and he could not have scripted a better start to his stint running the men's and women's cross country program.

Murray returns to West Chester University where he was a volunteer assistant with the men's and women's cross country program and track & field squads from 2016 to 2018. He comes back to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference school following one season as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's cross country programs at Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

While at Jefferson during the 2018 season, Murray helped the Jefferson women's cross country team successfully defended its Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Cross Country Championship, winning its 10th CACC team title since 2008.

A standout student-athlete at Saint Joseph's University, Murray was a two-time Atlantic 10 All-Conference cross country honoree and an individual qualifier for the 2008 NCAA Division I National Cross Country Championship and 2009 Outdoor Track East Regional Championship.

In June 2010, Murray was a recipient of the Atlantic 10 Sporting Award, presented annually to a male and female student-athlete who exemplifies good sportsmanship.

In May 2009, Murray graduated from Saint Joseph's University with his bachelor's degree in Management. The Jamison, Pa., native also graduated from the MBA program at SJU's Haub School of Business in 2011.
