Before Dartmouth, Vandeveer spent two seasons at Boston College as an assistant women’s soccer coach and recruiting coordinator. At BC, he was responsible for recruiting top-tier student-athletes to compete in the ACC while assisting with the development of field players and goalkeepers and supporting the program’s daily operations.
Vandeveer also enjoyed a successful 13-year tenure at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. From 2009 to 2022, he served as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the women’s soccer program after a brief stint as an assistant coach with the men’s team. While in Northern Virginia, Vandeveer expanded his coaching experience through local youth clubs and soccer camps. He also served as goalkeeper coach for the Washington Spirit of the NWSL during the club’s 2019 preseason.
Earlier in his career, Vandeveer served as an assistant women’s soccer coach at Norwich University in 2005.
