Dr. Dennis McNaboe
Camp Director
Dennis has dedicated 30 years to higher education, with experience at esteemed institutions such as Kent State University, Alderson Broaddus University, Davis & Elkins College, and West Virginia Wesleyan College.
Dennis played tennis at Marietta College from 1990 to 1994, where he achieved a #4 ranking in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) during his senior year. Following his collegiate career, Dennis transitioned into coaching, leading both the Men’s and Women’s teams at Philip Barbour High School.
Currently, Dennis serves as the head coach for both the Men’s and Women’s teams at Salem University in Salem, WV, a position he has held for the past four years. During his tenure, he has revitalized the program, growing its membership from just 9 players in 2021 to 23 in Fall 2024. Under his leadership, the teams have also doubled their win totals, with both the Men’s and Women’s programs earning regional rankings.
In addition to these successes, Dennis played a key role in securing the return of home matches for Salem University’s tennis program. After nearly six years without a home court, the university resurfaced its tennis courts, allowing the teams to host 4 home matches in Spring 2024 and schedule 5 for Spring 2025.
