Ed Madec

Coach Ed Madec served as head basketball coach for 18 seasons. He spent 4 years at the college of the Siskiyous as Head coach, where he led the program for four years, compiling an impressive 85-35 record. During his time at Siskiyous he led the team to the first-ever Final 8 appearance in school history and won two conference championships.

Following his success at Siskiyous, Madec took over as head coach at Fresno City College for 14 years were he broke a national record with 14 straight conference championships and 2 state championships. His overall record was 400-70. Madec is most proud of his players success off the court with over 100 student athletes earning full ride scholarships, and 93% went on to matriculate to four year institutions

Madec brings over 30 years of experience in teaching and directing basketball camps from Hawaii, Mexico, Florida, South America and the western United States. Madec is a proud father of three sons, Leon, George and Armas. When is away from the game of basketball he enjoys cooking, cleaning, spending time in the ocean and being with his three boys.
