Eddie Williams - assistant_coach

Eddie Williams joined the ThunderWolves coaching staff as a full-time assistant coach in the summer of 2015. In his three years as a full-time assistant, Williams has worked with the Pack's pitching staff. Williams guided Kyle Lazcano to First Team All-RMAC and Second Team All-Region honors in 2017.

One year earlier, Williams helped Cameron Weinberg to Second Team All-RMAC honors. In both of his seasons as a full-time assistant, the Pack has made the postseason.

Williams spent the 2015 season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Pack, working with the catchers and pitchers. During the summer of 2014, he served as an assistant coach with the Pueblo Collegians of the Mile High Collegiate Baseball League.

As a player at CSU-Pueblo, Williams played in 51 games during the 2014 season. Williams amassed 41 hits, 24 RBIs and 23 runs scored. At the conclusion of the 2014 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament, Williams was tabbed to the all-tournament team after going 6-for-16 at the plate with four RBIs and two runs scored.

Prior to joining the Pack, Williams spent two seasons behind the plate at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Williams began his collegiate baseball career at Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kan. In 2011, Williams helped lead Seward to the JUCO World Series in Grand Junction, Colo.

Williams earned an associate’s degree in science from Seward in 2011. He went on to graduate from CSU-Pueblo in December of 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. Williams completed his bachelor’s degree with a 3.3 GPA.
