Emily Cook

Emily Cook is the Assistant Volleyball Coach at the University of San Francisco.

Emily Cook joined the USF staff in Fall of 2021 after serving as the Director of Operations for the indoor volleyball team for 2 seasons at LMU. Overall, she brings indoor and beach volleyball experience to the program as she was the Assistant Director and coach at Surfside Volleyball Club for seven seasons prior to her arrival on The Hilltop.

Additionally, Cook was the varsity assistant for Mira Costa High School and helped lead her team to a Bay League championship. As a player herself, Emily competed at Pepperdine, where she led the Waves to two National AVCA Titles on the beach in 2012 and 2014. Notably, she left Pepperdine ranked third in program history in total wins (90) as she was also named to the All-Freshman Team in 2010 for indoor volleyball. Most impressively, Cook led the team to a the West Coast Conference title and an NCAA top-eight finish in 2012.

Cook was also named AAU National Player of the Year in 2008 for beach volleyball, while also taking a bronze medal at the Junior Olympics in 2007 and a silver in 2008. She is a graduate of Murrieta Valley High School.
