Emma Smallcomb is the Assistant Coach at Brandeis University and Girls High School Director for Boston UVC.

Emma is the Brandeis University Assistant Coach and Girls High School Director for Boston UVC. At Brandeis, Emma is responsible for recruiting and has brought in a highly competitive recruiting class in her first season, while also practice planning and heading strategy. At UVC, Emma has elevated the level of coaching of the 15-18 Girls teams while coaching her own 17's team to a highly successful season, including a 17 open gold bracket championship at the NEAAU Champions League #1.


Emma Smallcomb is a double graduate of Sacred Heart University with a distinguished NCAA Division I Volleyball career. Emma played for the Pioneers after being a standout high school athlete in the state of Massachusetts, earning Gatorade Player of the Year in 2017. At Sacred Heart, Emma was a 5-year starting Libero and Team Captain and holds the single-season and all-time school record for digs. As 3-time NEC Conference champions and an All-Conference selection each year, she led her team to the 2019 and 2021 NCAA Women’s Volleyball Tournament.
