Camp Director
Eric Shick
Eric Shick is the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Lexington High School.
Eric began coaching volleyball in 1997 as a student coach with the University of South Carolina Gamecocks under Head Coach Kim Hudson. He worked with the team for 3 years and learned great technical training from some of the best. During his time at USC he also began coaching Club volleyball as he coached for Gamecock Juniors (the only club in Columbia at the time) for 2 years. After graduating from USC, Eric coached at the high school level for 1 year at Cardinal Newman where they won the SCISA Class 3A Upper Region in his first season. He then took a position at the collegiate level with a 3 year stint at Columbia College (NAIA) where he increased the schools standing in the region each year. Eric returned to coaching at the high school level where he head coached at White Knoll High School. Shick guided the Timberwolves to a 3rd place finish in the state playoffs in 2015. He currently is the head coach at Lexington High School in Lexington, SC where he has directed the Wildcats to five Region Championships in a row. He has also recently led LHS to two State Finals appearances in 2019 and 2022. Shick is very excited to be selected by NIKE Camp Operator, Jason Harman, to lead the inaugural summer of NIKE Volleyball Camps in Lexington.
