Frank Craska - Assistant Baseball Coach, Caltech

Frank Craska is the assistant baseball coach at California Institute of Technology, one of the world’s top-rated academic institutions.

Frank Craska began his first year as the Caltech Assistant Baseball Coach in August 2024. After graduating from Mars Area High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Craska played from 2019 to 2022 at Lafayette College in the Patriot League. Craska compiled five saves in his freshman campaign in 2019 and logged 50 innings in his career with Lafayette. Upon graduating with an undergraduate degree in Government & Law in 2022, Craska continued his career at Quinnipiac University in the MAAC. In his time with Quinnipiac, Craska had a 4-2 record out of the bullpen while working 30 innings over two seasons with the Bobcats. At Quinnipiac, Craska earned his master’s degree in Sports Journalism in 2024. Craska’s father, Frank, played baseball at the University of Pittsburgh. His mother, Margaret, attended Holy Cross. Craska is the oldest of 5 siblings. He has two brothers, Joey and Pete, who play at Manhattan and North Alabama, respectively. His two younger sisters, Laura and Caroline play softball; Laura is committed to play at the University of Maine.
