Tom Williamson
Head Women's Soccer Coach
Tom Williamson brings a wealth of coaching experience and a deep passion for player development to St. Joseph’s University - Long Island, where he was recently appointed as Head Coach of the women’s soccer team. With a proven track record in player growth at all levels of the game, Williamson is dedicated to fostering a competitive and supportive environment that helps athletes reach their full potential. His expertise spans youth, collegiate, and elite-level soccer, making him an invaluable leader for the Golden Eagles.
No stranger to St. Joseph’s, Williamson has been an integral part of the program since 2019 as an assistant coach, helping guide the team to a 24-21-5 record and three Skyline Conference Tournament appearances. Before joining the Golden Eagles, he spent four years as an assistant coach at NCAA Division II LIU Post, where he helped lead the Pioneers to a regular-season championship and an NCAA East Regional berth in 2017.
A native of the United Kingdom, Williamson earned his BA in Sport Management from Coventry University in Warwickshire. His extensive background in coaching, player development, and program building makes him the ideal leader to elevate St. Joseph’s women’s soccer program to new heights.
