- Graduated from the Military Police College of Paraná before enrolling at the University of Arizona
- Competed in triathlon as an amateur from 2017 to 2019

- Junior champion at 2018 South American Triathlon Championships in Montevideo, Uruguay before earning another podium finish a year later
