Gadi Shamah

Gadi Shamah - Camp Director

Directing camp this summer is Gadi Shamah, Volunteer Assistant Coach at the University of Utah. Coach Shamah has over twenty years of coaching experience and an ASCA Level 4/3 certification. He is rated in the top 15% of coaches nationally.

Gadi received a Bachelors of Arts from Dominican University in San Rafael, California. A native of Marin County, Gadi has strong connections to the swimming community in the area. Gadi swam with the Marin Pirates, Marin Water Polo and at Terra Linda High School.

Gadi has spent the majority of his professional career coaching multiple levels, including Learn-to-Swim programs, Head Coaching Summer League programs, Head Coaching for Drake High School, two years coaching U.S. National Qualifiers at Marin Pirates, interning with Australian National and Olympic Trials Qualifiers, Gadi was recently the Head Swim Team Coach at the San Domenico School in San Anselmo, CA where he spent the past six years building the Panthers swim team from the ground up into a USA-sanctioned, year-round program of 80 swimmers dedicated to competitive swimming and is now the Volunteer Assistant Coach for the University of Utah an NCAA Division 1 swim team.

Gadi lives in Park City, UT with his wife, Sarah, and two sons.
