Molly McCourt
Camp Director
Directing camp this summer is Molly McCourt. A former University of Maryland player, McCourt, is in her fourth year as the head coach of Kansas City’s Rockhurst University women’s lacrosse program.
She previously served as the Hawks’ associate head coach where she coordinated practice planning and skill development with a focus on implementation of a new attacking system.
McCourt has served as the head coach of the Wales women’s national lacrosse team since 2011. She guided Wales to second place in the 2015 European Championship in Prague, a fifth-place finish in the 2013 World Cup and second place in the 2012 European Championship.
An Academic All-Conference student-athlete at the University of Maryland, McCourt was a defender on the Terrapins’ women’s lacrosse team. She earned a degree in kinesiology from Maryland in 2006. She also graduated with a Master of Science in exercise science and coaching from the German Sport University in Cologne, Germany.
McCourt’s coaching experience also includes three years as the head coach of the HLC Rot-Weiss Munchen women’s lacrosse team, two years as the head coach of the German U19 women’s lacrosse team and three years as the assistant coach of the German women’s national lacrosse team.
