Gerry Hammond
Camp Director
Gerry Hammond is one of the teaching professionals for The Golf Depot. He has over 20 years of experience as a golf professional, PGA member and golf instructor. Gerry established the "Players Junior Golf Academy" and the "Adopt-A-Junior Golfer" programs, as venues to expose Columbus area youth to the game of golf.
He was the Director of Golf at Family Golf Centers in Whitehall and Director of Golf at Bridgeview Golf Course.
While at Bridgeview, Gerry partnered with Columbus State and initiated the formation of the Columbus Chapter of The First Tee national program supported by the PGA of America, PGA Tour, the Augusta National Golf Club, LPGA, and the USGA. Since 2005, he has been selected as US Kids Top 50 Junior Golf Instructors and continues to produce great players. As a one of the top PGA golf instructors in Central Ohio, Gerry continues to focus his time and talent on teaching youth important life skills such as patience, dedication, honesty, integrity and hard work, through golf.
