Gideon Gamble
Director of Basketball | EYBL Director
Gideon Gamble joined the Sports Academy team in 2021 and is the Head of Basketball Training at Sports Academy, overseeing skills training, memberships, and camps. He also serves as Club Director and Coach for Sports Academy Swish Basketball Club and has experience with Core Prep Academy and West Coast Elite Basketball Club.
Professionally, Gideon played in the NBA G-League for the Lakers, Sixers, and Pacers affiliate teams and competed internationally for seven years in Mexico, Japan, China, Dominican Republic, Lebanon, and Canada.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Winthrop University, where he helped win a Big South Championship and participate in the NCAA Tournament in 2010. A native of Atlanta, GA, he graduated from Westlake High School, achieving a record of 112-15 and earning All-State and All-Region selections, as well as MVP of the GA All-Star Game.
