Hailey Post joined St. Edward’s as the new head softball coach in the summer of 2023. Post joins St. Edward’s after six years as assistant softball coach at St. Mary’s, where she was responsible for team operations, recruiting, and coaching the infield.
While at St. Mary’s, Post helped lead the Rattlers to two Heartland Conference regular-season titles (2018, 2019) and two NCAA DII Regional appearances (2022, 2023).
Before St. Mary’s, Post coached at Kansas Wesleyan University, first as a graduate assistant and then as head coach for the 2017 season. The Coyotes were the 2017 Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference championships and an NAIA National Tournament appearance.
Post played collegiately for Central Arizona College of the National Junior College Athletic Association, playing multiple positions and earning Arizona Collegiate College Athletic Conference Second Team honors. She finished her career at NCAA Division I Boise State as a two-year starter, finishing in the top ten for career slugging percentage and on-base percentage. After college, she played professionally in Therwil, Switzerland.
