Heather Coppola - Camp Director

Directing camp will be Heather Coppola!

Coppola was named University of Mount Olive's second-ever Head Women's Lacrosse Coach in June 2020 and has proceeded to lead the team to an impressive 41-12 record the past three years reaching new heights as a NCAA D2 powerhouse.

Coppola joined Mount Olive after spending the 2019 season as an Assistant Coach at Baldwin Wallace University where she served as the Defensive Coordinator and Goalie Coach.

Prior to Baldwin Wallace, Coppola spent two seasons at Concordia University-Saint Paul, spending one season as a graduate assistant before being promoted to head coach in June 2018.

In 2019 Coppola guided the team to its first-ever winning season, finishing 11-7 with a 7-4 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). The Golden Bears finished fourth in the GLIAC, recorded their first-ever conference tournament win, had six all-conference players, and earned a Division II national ranking of 16th.

Coppola spent the 2017 season as an assistant coach at Robert Morris University. As the Offensive Coordinator, she helped lead Robert Morris to the most wins in school history with an 11-7 record and a second-place regular-season finish in the Northeast Conference. The team led the NCAA in caused turnovers per game and was third for most ground balls per game.

Coppola also coached at SUNY Oswego, where she served as the Offensive Coordinator, before going to Robert Morris. The team had a 12-4 record, tying for the most wins in school history, and made the conference playoffs for the first time in 11 years.

Coppola started her coaching career at Allegheny College, serving as Assistant Coach for two years and helped the team to a program-best record of 15-2 in 2014.

Coppola played collegiately at Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania for four years, helping the NCAA Division III program to an ECAC Championship in 2012, while receiving her Bachelor's degree in Social Work. She later earned her Master's degree in Leadership and Management at Concordia University-Saint Paul.
