Izzy Bonacci

Izzy Bonnaci– (Monmouth University – Steinert HS) Izzy is a pitcher on the Monmouth University Division I softball team and is currently studying Exercise Science with a 3.7 gpa. She was a four year varsity softball athlete at Steinert High School from 2019–2023, where she had a career 351 strikeouts and .378 batting average. Izzy was named Steinert Defensive Player of the Year, Trentonian Colonial Valley Conference Player of the Year, Times of Trenton All-Area Player of the Year, Steinert Softball Player of the Year, multiple First Team All-Area selections, and First Team Trentonian Colonial Valley Conference selections.

Izzy was a Mercer County Tournament Champion and MVP, a two time NJSIAA CJ Group 3 Sectional Champion, a NJSIAA CJ Group 3 State Champion, and was named the NJSIAA High School Female Athlete of the Year, along with receiving two Trenton Softball Hall of Fame Scholarships and the Steinert Athletic Hall of Fame scholarship. She continued her collegiate softball career at Mercer County Community College, where she was named Region Player of the Week and First Team All-Region, before transferring to Monmouth University. At Monmouth University, she pitched 85.2 innings with 43 strikeouts and hit a home run her sophomore season, as well as making it onto the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
