Jaryn Garner recently graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia where she was a pivotal contribution to a team that went to the conference championship game in 2018. As a combo guard she grabbed over 200 rebounds and led the team in assists during her first season there.
Prior to her stint at Saint Joseph’s Garner played for the University of Virginia where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology after only 3 years. There she suffered an injury in the beginning of her career and appeared in 32 games. She went to Virginia after a decorated career at Germantown Academy where she was a top 10 All State ESPN HoopGurlz, three star player, earned all-state honors and still is top 10 on the list for steals. Her goal is to teach players the importance of being a team player as well as understanding the importance of fundamentals such as defense and giving 100% every time you get the opportunity to touch the floor.
