Nike Golf Camp Jason Rodenhaver Maryland

Jason Rodenhaver took over as the Maryland men's golf head coach in 2011 and has served as the director of intercollegiate golf and oversaw the men’s and women’s programs.

Prior to his role as the director of intercollegiate golf for both teams, Rodenhaver became the first head coach of the women’s golf program in 1999. Overall, he served as the women’s golf head coach for 12 years and has been associated with Maryland golf as a head coach, assistant, and student-athlete for over two decades.

“We would like to sincerely thank Jason for his commitment and long-standing service to the University of Maryland men’s and women’s golf programs. We’re excited that he will continue to lead our men’s program,” Anderson said. “As an alum of the men’s golf program, he truly appreciates what it means to be a part of Maryland athletics. We applaud the outstanding job he’s done over the last three years as the director of intercollegiate golf. With our transition to the Big Ten, we felt this was an important step for both our men’s and women’s golf programs.”

Rodenhaver led the women’s program to six NCAA Regionals appearances, 18 team wins, 10 All-ACC honorees, 13 Academic All-Americans and seven individual tournament wins. In his three years with the men’s team, he helped Sean Bosdosh earn All-ACC honors and earn individual bids to the NCAA Regionals in 2013 and 2014. His teams have won the President’s Cup three times.”

Rodenhaver played three seasons for the Terrapins and led the team to a fifth-place finish at the ACC Championship in 1994. That finish was the best for Maryland since 1978. He was a two-year captain of the men's golf team and participated in the NCAA East Regional in his senior season.
