Jenn Harper-David

Jenn Harper-David was born and raised in Northeast Ohio, where she discovered her passion for golf at the age of 13. She quickly emerged as one of the state’s top junior players, earning All-Ohio honors during her high school career and finishing ranked in the Top 5 in Ohio for her graduating class.

Jenn continued her success at the collegiate level at the University of Akron, where she made an immediate impact. As a freshman, she earned 2nd Team All-Conference honors, followed by a standout sophomore season in which she was named 1st Team All-Conference and captured two individual tournament victories. After two seasons at Akron, Jenn transferred to Sam Houston State University to continue her competitive and personal growth.

In the summer of 2022, Jenn achieved one of the highlights of her amateur career by winning the 99th Ohio Women’s Amateur Championship. At Sam Houston State, she went on to win back-to-back conference championships in the WAC and Conference USA, while earning 1st Team All-Conference honors in each of her final two seasons as a Bearkat. During her first fall season with the program, Jenn was ranked inside the Top 160 in the national collegiate golf rankings.

Following her collegiate career, Jenn played professionally for two seasons, competing at a high level and gaining valuable experience in tournament preparation, performance under pressure, and course management. It was during this time that she discovered her true passion for teaching the game and mentoring players who aspire to reach their own competitive goals.

As a coach, Jenn brings a unique perspective shaped by her journey through junior golf, elite college competition, and professional play. She emphasizes skill development, strategic decision-making, mental performance, and confidence building — helping students not only improve their swings, but also learn how to compete and enjoy the game at a higher level. Throughout her career, Jenn has worked closely with 2003 Open Champion Ben Curtis, further shaping her approach to both playing and coaching the game.

Jenn is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive learning environment and is passionate about helping golfers of all ages and abilities reach their full potential.
