Jennifer Buehler is in her sixth season as an assistant coach for the Southwestern College softball program. Her primary responsibility is the development of pitchers for the Lady Builders.

Since her first season in 2008, the Southwestern pitching staff has seen nothing but improvement. The staff's team ERA against KCAC opponents has dropped from 6.68 in 2008 to 2.40 in 2012, opposing batting average dropped from a .368 in 2008 to a .251 in 2012. Both starting pitchers received All-KCAC honors in both 2011 and 2012, including a unanimous first-team selection.

Buehler attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N. J. where she was a four-year starting pitcher for the Kights. In the 2004 and

2005 seasons she led the team with 0.271 and 0.266 opposing batting averages, respectively. She graduated from FDU with a B.S. in Biology in 2005. She went on to complete her Master's of Education degree at Southwestern College in 2009.

After college Buehler continued her softball career playing in Utrecht, Holland for the UVV softball club. She set club records in strike outs, no hitters, and opposing batting average for the 2006 season.

Buehler has been actively involved with softball camps since 2003. She specializes in drill instruction to both large and small groups. Her energy and excitement is unmatched. Buehler continues to play softball in the summer months as part of the open league CNY New Hartford Legion softball team.
