Jeremy Esry

Jeremy Esry is the Head Men's Basketball Coach at North Central Missouri College and former Head Coach for MoKan Elite's 16U Nike Boys Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL). Jeremy has over 10 years of experience working camps, everywhere from Division 1 universities to volunteering at high school camps. His love for the game is evident.

Coach Esry begins his seventh year with the Men’s Basketball team at NCMS and his fourth as Head Coach. As a first year head coach, Esry led the Pirates to a 18-10 overall mark tying for the regular season Region 16 championship. His second year mark was 17-11 overall. In three years as an assistant, NCMC also won or tied for the regular season Region 16 championship twice. Esry helped lead the 2014-2015 team to a 22-7 record, the best single season record in school history. That year also saw the Pirates get ranked as high as 10th in the nation. Individually, Esry has helped recruit and develop fifteen 1st Team All-Region selections and two 2nd Team All-Americans with many players moving on to play at 4-year universities.

Prior to North Central, Esry was a Graduate Assistant at Central Methodist University and began his coaching career at Peru State College as an assistant coach from 2009-2011. As a player, Coach Esry played his first two years at NCMC and transferred to Central Methodist, helping lead them to a Sweet 16 finish in the NAIA National Tournament.
