Jessica Ruckman Nike Softball Camps

Former Oklahoma Christian outfielder Jessica Ruckman is in her seventh season as a full-time assistant coach for the Lady Eagles after spending the 2011 season as the program’s graduate assistant. After the 2014 season, she was named as OC's associate head coach.

Ruckman played a key role in OC's memorable 2014 season, as the Lady Eagles went 42-16, won the National Christian College Athletic Association Central Region title -- the program's first postseason championship -- and reached the NCCAA national-title game. OC won a second straight NCCAA regional title in 2015 and again advanced to the national-title game.

In 2016, OC's first as a full NCAA Division II member, the Lady Eagles finished third in the Heartland Conference and qualified for the league's postseason tournament, and OC repeated that effort in 2017 despite a roster with only 11 healthy players.

The 29-year-old Ruckman grew up in Stillwater and, as Jessica Hauf, played for OC from 2007 to 2010. She graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education from OC, then earned a master’s degree in sports administration from East Central in December 2013.

She became a full-time assistant in June 2011 and handles all administrative services in addition to her on-field duties. She is married to Zach Ruckman.
