Joan Molist

Joan Molist is a highly respected player‑development coach with extensive experience implementing two of the world’s most influential training methodologies: the Ekkono and the FC Barcelona philosophy. Known for his ability to elevate individual player intelligence, technical mastery, and tactical understanding, Joan has led high‑performance programs across Europe, Asia, and the United States.

Joan currently serves as the Project Director for Ekkono Futbol USA, guiding nationwide programming and helping shape the next generation of intelligent, modern footballers. His experience includes serving as Head Coach for Barça Academy USA Camps and working as a lead educator, including acting as Professor of the Ekkono Identity Course in Finland.

Before his U.S. roles, Joan spent years abroad as the Director of the Methodology Department at Ekkono Osaka Academy in Japan, leading player development pathways and coach education initiatives. He has also coached at elite Ekkono camps in Finland (Eerikkilä SHA‑Ekkono Winter Camp) and served as Head Coach for the Pohjanmaan Jalkapalloakatemia Ekkono Camps. Earlier in his career, Joan coached with multiple clubs under the Catalan Football Federation, contributing to long‑term player development in one of the world’s top youth‑soccer ecosystems.
