Joe Nardella

Joe Nardella is the founder of the Faceoff Factory. One of the top faceoff specialists in the nation, Nardella was drafted as a midfielder by the Boston Cannons in the fifth round, 36th overall, of the 2015 Major League Lacrosse Draft.
As a senior at Rutgers, Nardella earned All-America third team and Scholar All-America honors. Nardella went 223-of-333 (.670), ranking third in the nation, at the faceoff X and led the Scarlet Knights with 125 ground balls. In addition to being named first team All-Big Ten, Nardella was also named the Big Ten Specialist of the Year. Nardella graduated in May of 2015 from Rutgers University with a bachelor degree in economics.
Career Highlights:
- After being named finalist for the Paul Cantabene Faceoff Man of the Year Award following a massive 2019, Joe Nardella took his game to even greater heights in 2020.
- Dominating the stripe through the PLL Championship Series in 2020, Nardella won 72% of his 138 draws and scooped up 65 ground balls. Nardella additionally scored three goals and registered three assists en route to another championship.
- Following the championship, Nardella was awarded the Faceoff Man of The Tournament and named to the All-Tournament Team.
- Nardella is a Cazenovia, New York native where he attended Cazenovia High School.
- While playing at Rutgers, Nardella was an Academic All-American, a third Team All-American, a First Team All-B1G selection, the B1G Specialist of the Year and a 2x All-BIG EAST Selection.
- Nardella has three years' experience coaching at Harvard University and is the founder of the Faceoff Factory.
- Nardella was named to the PLL All Star Game in 2019.
