Johan du Randt - Camp Director

With a deep belief in the future of pickleball as a premier racquet sport, Johan has committed himself to the growth and development of the Boston Pickle Club. His vision is to share the joy and health benefits of racquet sports with as many people as possible, fostering a vibrant community for players of all skill levels. Johan lives in Wayland, MA with his wife and two children, where he continues to inspire and shape the future of pickleball in the region.

Johan du Randt’s extensive career in racquet sports spans from his college years at Port Elizabeth Technikon in South Africa, where he played number one singles and doubles tennis, to his time on the ATP Tour. Over five years, Johan achieved an ATP singles ranking of 331 and a doubles ranking of 222, showcasing his exceptional talent on the international stage. A six-time APTA National Paddle Tennis Champion, Johan’s contributions to the sport will be celebrated with his induction into the APTA Hall of Fame this March. He has dedicated much of his life to coaching and mentoring athletes, previously serving as the Head Professional at The Country Club in Brookline, MA.
