Coach John Albarano has over 30 years of softball coaching experience both in high school and elite level Travel Softball. A noted and well sought out hitting coach, John is a certified Rapsodo Hitting Instructor and a Certified Rob Crews/Complete Game Hitting Instructor
As a high school coach, Albarano took over a Lower Dauphin High School program that had previously gone 2-17, In Albarano’s first year as Head Coach he led the team to a 17-3 season which included a Mid-Penn Keystone Conference Championship and a fourth place finish in the powerful PIAA District Three.
Albarano was named the 2022 Mid-Penn Keystone Coach of the year and also named the Pennsylvania High School Softball Coach of the Year by Overtime Sports Harrisburg. Albarano’s 2022 Lower Dauphin Team placed a record 7 players on the All Mid-Penn Conference Team including the 2022 Conference Player of the year.
Albarano has coached numerous Pennsylvania State Softball Coaches Association First and Second Team selections and in 2022 had a player selected as an Extra Innings Softball First Team High School All-American.
As a travel coach, Albarano has served as a head coach with the Lady Warriors program from Williamsport, PA. , one of the oldest travel organization on the East Coast.
Albarano has also served as the Head Coach of the Frozen Ropes USA 18u National Team and as the Head Coach of the prestigious Frozen Ropes Hershey Team which has one numerous elite level USA and USSSA Tournaments, including the only team to win three consecutive championships at the RockFest New England College Showcase (2021-2023)
Albarano currently coaches the USSSA Hershey Pride 18u Team, part of the USSSA Pride National Program.
Albarano has produced 14 players who have been selected to participate in the elite level USSSA Select 30 National Training Camp in Viera, Florida – a select training program for high performing travel players.
Albarano was the founder and director of Frozen Ropes Hershey, an affiliate of Frozen Ropes USA National Training Centers – an elite level training facility for baseball and softball players.
