John Vassar
Director
John Vassar is in his second year as Head Football Coach at Saint John's Shrewsbury. Coach Vassar is a Worcester native and was the in the class of 2011 at Saint John's Shrewsbury.
He was a central MA All-Star in 2010 and the Shriners game MVP in 2011. From there he attended the Hotchkiss School as a PG Class of 2012. He was All-Conference in football during the 2011 season.
Vassar went on to play football and run track at Wesleyan University, class of 2016.
At 23 Coach Vassar and his close friends started a sports performance gym in Cambridge where they trained athletes from all over the Boston area. Over 30 of their athletes went on to play football at the division I, II, & III levels.
Coach served as the Director of Operations for Legacy New England Football, a premier 7v7 program training over 200+ athletes each winter for 3 years.
