Coach Berenson is entering his 19th season as a high school football coach. He is currently the varsity defensive line coach at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks and is entering his 6th

Coach Berenson is entering his 19th season as a high school football coach. He is currently the varsity defensive line coach at Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks and is entering his 6th season in that position. He has served as the defensive coordinator at Grace Brethren High School, head football coach at Buena High School, Offensive coordinator at Alemany High School, offensive line coach at Pierce College and assistant coach at Valencia High School.

He has worked with Coach Timo Lunceford at Buena High School and with Impact training in 2014 and 2015. He is the defensive line coach for QB Combine Plus and has worked with Velocity Sports training. Coach Berenson was the defensive line coach for the Daily News East-West All-Star Game in 2011and the linebackers coach in the private school All-Star game in 2012.

Coach Berenson earned his Masters Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University in 2012, his special education teaching credential from California State University Northridge in 2003 and his Bachelors Degree from California Lutheran University in 1998. He was a 2-year starter as offensive linemen at Pierce College (93,94all WSC honorable mention), a letterman and black shirt award winner at California State University(96) (97) State Northridge and a starter on the offensive line at California Lutheran University

He is currently the compliance coordinator/dean of students at Van Nuys Elementary School is married to a first-grade teacher and has an 8-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son.
