Justin Clark
Associate Head Football Coach / Offensive Coordinator / Wide Receivers Coach

Justin Clark is in his third season as the Associate Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Wide Receivers Coach, Recruiting Coordinator, and Head JV Coach with the Battling Bishop football program after being hired in January of 2022.
Clark was promoted to Offensive Coordinator for the 2023 football season. During the 2023 season, Clark oversaw an Offensive production that improved 55 spots nationally and finished in top 5 in USASouth Conference in Yards Passing per Game. Also, improved 14 spots nationally in Total Yards Per Game.
In the Spring of 2024, Clark was promoted to Assistant Head Coach, while also receiving the North Carolina Wesleyan University “Most Inspirational Award” among all faculty and staff at Wesleyan.
Before coming to Wesleyan, Clark served as the head football coach at his Alma Mater, North Gaston High School, in NC for two seasons. Prior to that he was the Offensive Coordinator at Ridge View HS (Columbia, SC) for two seasons as well as spending time as the head coach at North Henderson HS in NC for a year as well. He has also been the QBs coach and Offensive Coordinator at three other high schools since 2008.
Clark had a stellar career in the high school ranks where he coached in 1 State Championship game and multiple Conference/Region Championship games.
A native of Gaston County, NC, Clark was a 3-year starting Quarterback and graduated from Western Carolina University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in History. Clark is the proud husband to Mary and father to two beautiful girls Emma Grace (8) and Isley Ann (7).
