Justin Dee

Director

Justin Dee - Director

Justin Dee is the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Williams Baptist University.

Dee comes to WBU after spending the last two seasons as the head coach at Webber International University. Dee led the Warriors to back-to-back berths in the Sun Conference Tournament across both seasons.

Prior to his time at Webber, Dee served as the head coach for Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi for nine seasons between 2013-2021. As head coach of the Blazers, Dee coached seven NCCAA Mid East All-Region recipients, three NCCAA Scholar-Athlete honorees, 10 ASC All-Conference players, two ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete honorees, one ASC Scholar-Athlete Medal of Honor recipient, and 39 Academic All-Conference players.

"We are excited to have Justin to lead our volleyball program," said WBU Athletics Director Mitch Mathis. "He has been successful on the court as well as developing his players into young women who love and serve the Lord off the court. I anticipate an immediate impact on our program and across the university."

Dee's coaching career has also included stops at Lyon College and Simpson College. Dee led the Scots to its first ever NAIA Tournament berth in 2006, and was named the NCCAA West Region Coach of the Year twice at Simpson.

In addition to his collegiate success, Dee led Briarwood Christian School to second and third place finishes in the Alabama State Playoffs and was named the 2009 Birmingham News Coach of the Year. He also led Buchholz High School in Gainesville, Fla. to the semifinals of the FHSAA Class 7A playoffs in 2012.

"I am incredibly honored to join Williams Baptist University and lead this program," said Dee. "My goal is to create an environment where our student-athletes thrive not only in competition but in their spiritual and personal growth. I am excited for the journey and cannot wait to get to work."

Dee graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 1999, then earned a Master of Science in Leadership from Belhaven University in 2020.
