Justin Schloss
Assistant Coach
Justin Schloss wrapped up his third season as an assistant coach with the Adelphi University baseball team in 2023.
His first two seasons coaching in the first-base box have saw the Panthers win a pair of NE10 Southwest Division regular-season titles. In 2022, the Panthers also earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
In 2019, the Brown and Gold advanced as far as the final of the NE10 Championship for the first time since 2014.
Prior to Adelphi, Schloss served as the head coach for Holy Trinity High School's junior varsity baseball team and as an assistant for the school's varsity program.
In addition, Schloss is the lead hitting and infield instructor at Common Sense Baseball in Westbury, N.Y. and serves as the head coach and administrator of local youth travel team, Long Island Elite Baseball.
Schloss played collegiate baseball at Utica College and SUNY Maritime, where he was a second and third baseman. He graduated from SUNY Maritime in 2018 with a B.S. in International Trade and Transportation.
Additionally, Schloss is a International Sports Science Association (ISSA) Certified Fitness Trainer, and is American Red Cross Certified in Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED.
