Nicolas Luc
Assistant Coach
After an exceptional career as an Adelphi student-athlete, Nicolas Luc returns to the Panther dugout in 2023 in the role of an assistant coach.
An NE10 Third Team All-Conference performer in 2021, Luc's junior campaign saw him rise to the ranks of an ace on the Adelphi pitching staff. He won five games that season and let up one earned run or fewer in each of those contests, posting a 1.15 ERA in the process.
That summer, Luc, following an outstanding stint in the Hamptons Collegiate Baseball League, played for the Orleans Firebirds of the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League.
Before officially earning his bachelor's degree in Psychology in May 2022, Luc was named Adelphi's Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and got nominated for the NE10 Man of the Year Award.
Luc has pursued professional opportunities since graduation and recently spent time with the Empire State Greys of the Frontier League, as well as the Trenton Thunder of the MLB Draft League.
Luc, who has also spent time coaching the 11U team of Storm Sports Academy, hails from Farmingdale, N.Y.
