Kante Himadou

Winner of two state cups, Kante has been involved with both playing and coaching soccer for over 10 years. Kante attended Tyhee High School in Seatac, WA and earned 4 League Championships.
Kante continued to improve his skills at North Idaho College. Kante’s team won the NWAC NW Conference Championship, with Kante being recognized as the top scorer in the competition. These experiences continued post-college, as Kante spent some time on the Seattle Sounders U23 reserves and as a Sounders S2 practice player. Other highlights include playing for Kitsap Pumas (where he helped to earn the Northwest Conference Championship in 2016).
In his career, Kante has worked with the Pacific Northwest (PACNW) youth teams and has been the head coach for Sound FC, Seattle United NE, and has led a team to victory in the Youth Soccer State Cup. He is currently coaching the Seattle United B10 Tango team. He encourages players to be skillful and creative, coaching his young athletes to create spaces for themselves and their teammates.
