Current coach for the USA Starz U25 team. Kass was a starting midfielder and team captain at NCAA Division 1 Saint Mary’s College. After battling injury she managed to come back after a red shirt season making a stand as a defense midfielder as well as combining 8 goals and 4 assists. She also managed to start in goal against MPSF foes San Diego State and Oregon having both team goalies injured, where she recorded a combined 21 saves, nearly leading SMC to a win over the Aztecs with no prior goal experience. Kass started playing lacrosse as a young girl in Ellicott City, Maryland. After moving to Pennsylvania for high school she was a three-sport athlete, lettering in lacrosse, field hockey and golf. In 2008 her family moved to Park City for her final 4 months of her senior year where she scored 53 goals and had 28 assists as a senior totaling 81 points in 2008. Kass received All-American; first team All State and Utah Attacker of the Year honors in 2008. She was also named from a pool of 160 senior girls to the Top 20 IWLCA Senior Division National Tournament All-Star team in 2008. Prior to moving to Utah in February of her senior year, she was a 3x First Team Mid-Penn selection, Attacker of the Year for PIAA and an All-American nominee. She lead the Mid-Penn conference both with assists and goals her sophomore and junior year, as well as breaking the Mid-Penn record in draw controls in a season with 108 in 14 games. Now a graduate student in Kinesiology and Sports Management.
