Keaton Burke

Keaton Burke has joined the Fairfield University men’s and women’s swimming and diving coaching staff as an assistant coach beginning with the 2022-23 season. The announcement was made by Head Coach Jacy Dyer on Thursday.
Burke joins Fairfield after coaching swimming at various levels throughout his career including his most recent stint as an assistant coach at the University of Notre Dame during the 2021-22 campaign. While in South Bend, the program set nine school records and sent eight student-athletes to the NCAA Championships. His helped create mid-distance, stroke ,sprint, and IM training programs and also wrote and led practices for designated groups each week. He was also involved recruiting and compiling meet entries and lineups.
He was also involved with Irish Aquatics, a competitive youth swim team that includes swimmers between the ages of 4 to 18 years old. During his tenure, Irish Aquatics produced multiple Junior National qualifiers as well as swimmers who continued their careers at Division I institutions. Burke was also a senior assistant and head age group coach from 2019-21 with Barracuda Swim Team in Seaford, Del.
Burke’s first collegiate coaching experience came as a volunteer with Salisbury University where he also a four-year varsity student-athlete. He graduated from Salisbury University with a B.A. in Communications (2019).
