Kelly Baskow enters her 12th season at the helm for the Sea Gulls in 2022-23. Under Baskow, Salisbury women's basketball has enjoyed eight winning seasons and its deepest-ever run into the NCAA Tournament in 2015.

In 2019-20 after leading the maroon and gold to another playoff berth in 2018-19. Salisbury posted a 17-10 record overall while going 8-6 in conference play. The Sea Gulls made the CAC tournament as the No. 3 seed, defeating No. 6 York (Pa.) in the opening round at home before falling to No. 2 seed Southern Virginia on the road.

Baskow led the maroon and gold to another playoff berth in 2017-18. The team posted a 15-11 record overall while going 10-8 in conference play. The Sea Gulls rallied off win streaks of four and three as part of a nine-win second half of the season. Salisbury advanced to postseason play for the seventh time under Baskow but fell to the University of Mary Washington in the first round.

Baskow led the Gulls to the Capital Athletic Conference playoffs for the sixth time in six years in 2016-17. Salisbury posted its second straight season of .500 basketball, going 13-13 overall and 9-9 in the conference.

Baskow took the group back to the CAC playoffs in 2015-16, having done so each year she has been with the team. Throughout the season, Baskow coached Julia McLaughlin to a stellar senior season as she was named the CAC Player of the Year, in addition to the D3hoops.com All-Mid Atlantic Region second team.

Baskow concluded her fourth season as head coach of the women's basketball team at Salisbury University in 2014-15 with the program's most record-breaking year to date. The Gulls finished the season with a 28-3 overall record, advancing to the Elite Eight of the national tournament, the furthest any team in program history has ever gone. Collecting 17 victories in Capital Athletic Conference play in the regular season, most in league history, and falling just once, Salisbury collected its fourth league title, first in 13 years. Senior Anna Hackett earned first-team All-American for D3hoops.com, while grabbing honorable mention by WBCA. Hackett also garnered Player of the Year for the region in D3hoops.com and the CAC. Baskow was named Coach of the Year for the CAC, along with the region by WBCA and D3hoops.com, before earning Coach of the Year in the ECAC.

Salisbury advanced to the Capital Athletic Conference semifinals for the third-consecutive season in 2013-14 and finished with an 18-9 record, with a 12-4 mark in league play. Baskow coached Hackett and Sarah Seipp to the first and second all-conference teams, respectively. Hackett was also named to the D3hoops.com all-region third team.

Baskow's Sea Gulls advanced to the CAC semifinals for the second straight season in 2012-13, also posting their second consecutive double-digit win campaign under her watch. Salisbury finished 15-12 overall and 7-5 in the league on the year.

Baskow coached sophomore Anna Hackett and senior Katie McGahagan to All-CAC first and second-team selections respectively. Freshman Julia McLaughlin was named CAC Rookie of the Year, the second Sea Gull to earn the award in as many years. Hackett also picked up D3hoops.com all-region honors on the year.

In her first year at the helm of the Sea Gulls, Baskow led SU to its best season in 10 years as it earned the No. 3 seed and advanced to the semifinals of the CAC tournament. Salisbury finished the season 15-11 overall and 11-5 in the CAC, marking the first time since 2001-02 that the Gulls posted double-digit wins in the league.

Baskow coached 2011-12 CAC Rookie of the Year and All-CAC second-team selection Hackett, the first All-CAC choice since 2007-08. Hackett averaged 13.1 points and 4.6 assists per game.

Baskow was named the 14th head coach in Salisbury history on July 1, 2011, after spending three seasons as an assistant coach at Gettysburg College. The program posted a 57-23 record (.713) during that span. The team's best performance came during the 2009-10 campaign, as Gettysburg collected 24 victories and advanced to the NCAA Division III "Sweet Sixteen."

Baskow graduated from the University of Scranton with a psychology degree in 2006, before earning her master's degree in sports and recreation administration from Temple University in 2008.
