Kevin Maggard

Coach Maggard currently coaches at Christ Presbyterian Academy where he is the head coach of the varsity boys basketball basketball program for the past three years. During his three years as head coach, Maggard has led the Lions to 3 consecutive trips to the Division II-AA State Tournament. Coach Maggard has spent many of the past summers working the Nike Basketball Camps in Nashville, TN with Drew Maddux and has had the great opportunity of instructing players in all areas of the camp.
Kevin began his coaching career at Davidson Academy in 1997 as an assistant boys basketball coach and later became head boys basketball coach in 2002 where he led the team to two trips to the Sub-State in Division I-A in 2002 and 2008. .
Maggard played college basketball at Belmont University from 1995-96. There his junior year record was an impressive 37-2 and senior year was 28-11. Both years Belmont made it to the NAIA Final Four. Maggard was named NAIA Academic All American in senior season.
