Lauren Barnes
Lauren Barnes grew up in Southern California playing youth soccer with Arsenal and went to Upland High School.
Barnes was a four year starter at UCLA from 2007-10 receiving awards like First-Team-Pac-10 and Third- Team All- American.
Barnes has represented the United States at the U-15, U-20, U-23 and Senior levels. In 2016, she received her first seiner national team call-up for the 2016 SheBelieves Cup.
Barnes is currently an American professional soccer defender who plays for Reign FC in the NWSL. The team set a league record unbeaten streak of 16 games, wining two NWSL Shields, Defender of the Year (2016) and NWSL Best XI (2015-16).
In the off-season Barnes has been on loan to Melbourne Victory (2014) and current loan club Melbourne City (2016-19) wining 3 back to back Grand Finals, Melbourne City W-league Player of the Year and PFA W-league Team of the Year.
When she’s not playing soccer Barnes loves to spend time with her family, traveling and cooking.
