Lauren Saffoori
On staff this summer is Lauren Saffoori. Coach Saffoori is the founder and owner of Lady Lax Goalies, a mobile training academy exclusively dedicated to developing, training, and educating female lacrosse goalies, their coaches, and the organizations/programs they represent. Lauren is also the owner of SportSight Mid-Atlantic, a neuro-visual training company that focuses on cognitive and dynamic vision training for athletes.
A Philadelphia native, Lauren played D1 lacrosse for Temple University. During her career as a Temple Owl she won an A-10 Championship and made the NCAA playoffs. After college she went on to coach high school lacrosse at Centreville High School in Virginia. Over her nine year career with Centerville, she helped lead the Lady Wildcats to appearances in two State Semifinals, a State Championship, and graduated her first All-American goalie.
With over 15 years of experience training players and coaches at all levels, Lauren has served goalies and coaches in 8 different states and 2 countries. While entering her 13th year coaching high school (Oakton HS) and 6th year coaching competitive club lacrosse (VA Metro Lacrosse) Lauren also evaluates goalies for the Under Armor All-American Team (DC) and the USA National Tournament.
