LeeAnn Fronckowiak

Camp Director

LeeAnn Fronckowiak - Camp Director

Directing camp this summer will be LeeAnn Fronckowiak!

LeeAnn Fronckowiak has been a dedicated lacrosse coach and official for over 30 years, with experience ranging from youth leagues to the collegiate level. A Buffalo, NY native, LeeAnn began her playing career at The Nichols School, where she was coached and mentored by USA Lacrosse Hall of Famer Beth Stone.

A true pioneer in growing the game, LeeAnn has a long history of launching and developing lacrosse programs. In 1995, she was hired as the first girls’ lacrosse coach at Sweet Home High School, leading the team to the district finals in its inaugural season. After relocating to Florida in 2006, she co-founded the Lady Manatee Youth Girls Program with her sister and went on to become the first girls’ lacrosse coach at Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School in Sarasota.

She later led the St. Stephen’s Episcopal School girls’ lacrosse program for six seasons, guiding the team to back-to-back Final Eight appearances in the state playoffs (2017, 2018) and securing four district championships during her tenure. In 2018, she was named Coach of the Year.

In addition to her school programs, LeeAnn served as a coach and Regional Director for the Lax Maniax Lacrosse Club for 17 years, developing numerous All-Academic and All-American athletes. To date, 12 of her players are competing at the collegiate level.

After briefly retiring, LeeAnn returned to the field to coach alongside her mentor Beth Stone at Nichols and currently serves as an assistant coach for the Niagara Falls High School girls’ varsity team.

Beyond coaching, LeeAnn has worked numerous lacrosse camps across Western New York and Florida and collaborated with Brian Lemon on a hybrid girls’ box lacrosse program. She served as a National Trainer with USA Lacrosse’s Coach Education Program for 20 years and has been a Field Marshal at the past five Women’s World Championship events.

In recognition of her lasting impact on the sport, LeeAnn was inducted into the Western New York Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2006.
