Following his academic and playing career at the University Federal of Rio de Janeiro in 2015, Lucas Santos came to the United States and began his coaching career. He started at the Challenger Sports Academy, coaching across the nation before joining Rhode Island Surf Soccer in 2020.
Santos has extensive experience developing players at various competitive levels, focusing on technical skills, tactical awareness, and overall player growth. At Rhode Island Surf, he has played a key role in player development and progression within elite club soccer pathways. As the Vacations Program Director, he creates engaging and competitive training environments that foster skill development and a love for the game.
