Madison Hunziker Coach SFSU

Madison Hunziker is the Assistant Volleyball Coach at San Francisco State University.

Madison Hunziker joined the San Francisco State volleyball staff in June 2023, prior to the start of the 2023 season.

Hunziker most recently coached the Granite Bay High School Volleyball teams in 2022 and 2020. She also worked with Synergy Force Volleyball Club from September 2020 to July 2021.

Prior to SF State, Hunziker spent the past two years working as an Academic Advisor with two separate Division I Football teams. She worked with Sacramento State during the past academic school year and University of Minnesota during the 2021-22 school year.

Hunziker started her playing career at fellow CCAA conference member Cal Poly Humboldt before transferring to American River College where she was a two-sport athlete in volleyball and swimming and diving. She transferred to Post University the following season. At Post, Hunziker served as a Captain from 2017-19 and was named CACC All-Conference Second Team in 2017 and CACC All-Conference First Team in 2018.

After graduating from Post, Hunziker attended the University of Essex and played for the BUCS League.

Hunziker graduated with a degree in Sports Management and concentration in Psychology from Post University in 2019. She earned a Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Psychology from the University of Essex in 2021 and is currently working on her Graduate Certificate in Sport and Performance Psychology from University of Western State.
