Mandy Ryan

Coach Ryan has been an assistant cross country coach at Walton since 2009. She is also the varsity head coach of the Lady Raiders lacrosse team since 2003.

She was the head lacrosse coach at Roswell and North Springs before moving to Walton (her alma mater). She began her lacrosse career at the University of Georgia where she played club lacrosse. After graduation from UGA with a degree in Biology, she became a girl’s lacrosse official and president of the Southeastern Women’s Lacrosse League. Coach Ryan was a certified EMT-Intermediate prior to earning her Master’s degree in Secondary Science Education from Georgia State University. She is also a competitive triathlete who enjoys training with her husband Travis Gower. Mandy has been a staff coach for three years.
