Coach Seals worked as Head Girls Cross Country Coach (1997 – Present) and Head Boys and Girls Cross Country Coach (1998 – 1999) at Riverwood High School. He was recognized 4X Girls Region 5AAA Track Coach of the Year, 4X Boys Region 5AAA Track Coach of the Year, and 2X Fulton County Cross Country Coach of the Year. His Girls Cross Country Team qualified for State Meet Championship 10 out of 11 years and his team has placed 6 times. 2007 Atlanta Track Club Paul Koshewa Award for Outstanding Dedication Women’s Coach.
As an athlete, Coach Seals competed at East High School in Cleveland, Ohio where he was a 3 sport letterman. Coach Seals played football at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and has been a competitive track athlete for a number of years. Coach Seals has been a staff coach at SMRC for 6 years.
