Marcelo Mann serves as an Associate with the Women's Tennis Team at Texas Christian University (TCU)
Mann became an Associate with the TCU Women’s Tennis program in the Fall of 2025. He resides in Fort Worth, Texas, where he is completing his final clinical internship as a therapist prior to graduating in December of 2026. In addition to his on-court coaching responsibilities, Mann works as a mental performance coach, integrating psychological skills training into high-performance athlete development.
Prior to TCU, Mann was a key member of the Lubbock Christian University (LCU) tennis coaching staff, where he helped build the program from its inaugural season in 2022 into a nationally ranked NCAA Division II program. Under his coaching, LCU reached national rankings as high as No. 4 (Men) and No. 7 (Women), produced multiple top-10 nationally ranked individual players, and earned two regional championship singles titles in 2022 and 2023. Mann was recognized as a two-time runner-up for Texas College Coach of the Year in 2023 and 2024 for his impact on the program’s rapid rise.
The Offenburg, Germany native played four seasons at Southwestern College (Kan.), where he was a three-time NAIA Academic All-America selection (2020–22) and a three-time Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Scholar Athlete honoree. Mann earned a No. 20 singles ranking in the ITA Central Region in 2019 and was a member of the 2019 KCAC Championship team.
